As I approach, ever more rapidly, the end of my seventieth decade the need to turn this labor of love over to younger dedicated volunteers becomes more and more apparent. In connection therewith, Jeff Keating a long time sponsor has agreed to take over some of my duties as Executive Director
As I continue to be involved at least through the current year I have one final project for which I am soliciting your support. The original donated computers which I sent down to start the computer lab are at or almost at the end of their useful lives. I propose to replace them with ten refurbished laptops at a cost of $200-$300 each. Laptops will easier to store away from the corrosive fine dust that infiltrates the school building. The goal for this fund raiser is $2500 of which I am pledging the first $250 and Casa Xelaju has agreed to match leaving a balance of $2000 to come from you generous supporters of the program.
